Overview

Shaw Trust provides services to support people with a criminal record in custody and in the community. This role supports the HMPPS Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) programme in the East of England and Southeast of England, based in the Peterborough Activity Hub. You will manage a caseload of participants within the community, at pop-up Satellite Hubs, and at our Activity Hub, providing high-quality support and guidance to engage participants in activities that help overcome barriers to resettlement and achieve milestones toward sustainable employment, education, or training.

The pay range is provided by Shaw Trust. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.


Role

CFO Hub Support Worker

In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants within the community, at pop-up Satellite Hubs, and at the Activity Hub. You will provide high-quality support and guidance, facilitating the engagement of participants in activities that help them overcome barriers to successful resettlement and achieve milestones leading to sustainable employment, education, or training. You will undergo enhanced vetting checks.


Responsibilities

* Demonstrable experience in motivating and supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs to overcome barriers and progress towards future goals in education, training, and employment.
* Experience in working with external stakeholders to provide exceptional participant support or progression routes, including employers, local authorities, health services, or voluntary sector organisations.
* The ability to build, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of support services to ensure comprehensive participant support.
* Proven experience of successfully working to targets and key performance indicators, with the ability to monitor and report on participant progress effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills and time management, with the ability to manage a caseload independently and provide community-based support.

* You will undergo enhanced vetting checks.
