Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Duty Solicitor to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of criminal legal principles and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills. This role involves providing expert legal advice, representing clients in various legal matters, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Duties
* Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on a wide range of issues.
* Represent clients at police stations and court proceedings.
* Draft and review legal documents.
* Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case developments.
* Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
* Stay updated on changes in legislation and legal practices relevant to the areas of law practiced.
Qualifications
* Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to client service and case management.
