Join to apply for the One Stop - Customer Service Assistant role at One Stop Stores Ltd. We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same, delivering excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the store’s appearance.
As the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will be constantly looking for ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback. With your guidance, your store will always remain a safe place to work and shop.
Responsibilities
* I know my customers and serve them with passion and pride, delivering great natural service.
* Actively encourage customers to provide feedback via the ‘have your say’ survey.
* Work across all areas of the store including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines to meet customer needs.
* Apply training to ensure safe working practices and procedures are followed.
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Understand store performance and the role you play to help deliver profit.
* Be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome and follow policies.
* Clock in and out at the start and end of shifts to ensure accurate pay.
* Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment where available to keep colleagues and customers safe.
* Follow the Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
* Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts and explain actions to customers.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and organized environment with clear aisles.
* May be responsible for running the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader and Store Manager.
* Follow all training to keep the workplace safe and compliant.
* If applicable (Post Office Local), duties may include day-to-day Post Office operations with required background checks; this may affect the offer if checks fail.
