Are you bursting with creativity, brimming with ideas, and ready to launch your career in social media? Maybe you decided uni wasn't for you and have thrown yourself into gaining valuable hands-on experience. If so, we’re looking for a Junior Social Media Executive to join a vibrant and growing agency team where you'll work on great projects with amazing clients and no two days are ever the same.
Working for an exciting Hertfordshire-based marketing agency, you’ll play a key role in shaping conversations online and bringing client campaigns to life. This is the perfect opportunity for someone digitally savvy who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, learn fast, and make an impact in the world of social media marketing.
What the Junior Social Media Executive will be doing
* Creating fresh, engaging content tailored to different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X).
* Planning and scheduling posts using content calendars and tools like Hootsuite.
* Monitoring channels, managing interactions and ensuring communities stay engaged and connected.
* Visiting clients across various locations in the UK, to create engaging content for social media channels.
* Tracking performance, reporting on key metrics, and spotting opportunities to improve results.
* Supporting the wider team with creative ideas, admin tasks and client meetings (including occasional travel).
What we’re looking for in the Junior Social Media Executive
* 1–2 years’ experience in social media or digital marketing (preferred, but enthusiasm counts just as much).
* Excellent writing skills, an eye for detail and a knack for creating engaging content
* Familiarity with key platforms, scheduling tools and basic design software like Canva.
* Organised, proactive and confident working as part of a fast-paced team.
* A genuine passion for social media and a curiosity to keep learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to kick-start their career in social media/marketing. Due to the location of the Hertfordshire-based office and the requirement to visit clients regularly, applicants will require a full UK driver's licence. This is a hybrid role, where you will be required to be in the office a minimum of two days a week. If this role sounds like something of interest, we want to hear from you!
