Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a First Line Support Technician located in Hemel Hempstead. The day-to-day tasks include providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within the organisation. The technician will also be responsible for effective communication with team members and users to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1st line technical support to internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and other common applications.
• Manage and resolve support tickets, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Escalate more complex issues to other team members.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and contribute to a positive team environment.
Skills & Experience:
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and computer hardware.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, regular office hours
Salary:
£26,000 per year (full-time, permanent)
