Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dundee, is currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner for an initial 6-month contract with an option to extend, at a rate of £269.36 - £298.19/day (Inside IR35). This role offers hybrid working with up to 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of HR in developing and managing the HR business partnering team, providing services across the organisation.
* Provide visible leadership, management, and vision for the HR function, delivering a cohesive HR support service.
Essential Skills:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
* CIPD qualified.
* Significant experience in managing HR operational work.
* Experience in developing, implementing, and managing complex, customer-focused projects and strategies.
* Proven track record in delivering workforce change and organisational development projects.
* Experience managing team or project teams.
* Workload planning, prioritisation, and resource allocation skills.
* Experience working in partnership with trade unions.
* Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices, with the ability to develop policies and procedures.
* Ability to deliver multiple projects effectively.
* Understanding of external HR developments and their organisational implications.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with influential abilities.
* Strong negotiation, chairing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
* Analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving, combining creative and analytical skills.
* Commitment to equality and diversity.
* IT literate, with effective communication and information management skills.
* Upholds high standards of integrity, honesty, and transparency in HR practices.
* Ability to drive continuous improvement and performance management.
* Ability to build constructive relationships at all organisational levels.
Desirable Skills:
* Qualified in BPS Level 1 and 2 occupational testing.
