About us
SpaMedica is one of the leading providers of NHS eye patient services and, in 2018, we became the largest NHS cataract surgery provider in the UK. We believe in giving people the best advice and choices to help improve their vision and pride ourselves on providing a high standard of patient care. We are privileged to support the thousands of patients that come to SpaMedica, and we are dedicated to growing our reach across the UK, drastically reducing NHS cataract surgery waiting times, delivering the highest quality care and supporting thousands of patients to achieve better vision. Beyond cataract surgery, other NHS ophthalmology services offered include treatments for age‑related macular degeneration (AMD) and posterior capsule opacification (PCO), which is treated through a procedure known as YAG laser capsulotomy.
