The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and driven fundraising professional who can turn ideas into revenue – someone who’s just as comfortable building a £100K+ corporate partnership as they are writing a winning multi-year grant bid or crafting a compelling deck for our next Tipping Point funder.

You'll drive income generation strategy through high-quality proposal writing, corporate sponsorship engagement, and funder relationship-building. You’ll play a vital role in securing new funding and partnerships that power our venture support programmes and scale our national impact.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Venture Support and Group Head of Impact to unlock new opportunities, deliver against Allia’s ambitious Tipping Point strategy, and help grow a national movement of impactful businesses.

* Build and steward a strong pipeline of corporate funders and partners, ensuring long-term engagement and mutual value.
* Represent Allia confidently in meetings, pitches, and sector events, acting as a credible ambassador for our work.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver on funder expectations, ensure accurate reporting, and share insights.
* Contribute to implementing Allia’s income generation strategy by identifying new funding opportunities and supporting national growth plans.

* Excellent proposal and bid writing skills.
* Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and potential funders.
* Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
* Understanding of social enterprise, entrepreneurship, or startup ecosystems.
* Experience line-managing or mentoring colleagues in fundraising or partnerships.
* Experience developing multi-year fundraising strategies and/or campaigns.
* Experience presenting to or working with boards, trustees, or senior stakeholders.
* Familiarity with corporate ESG trends or public sector funding.

About Allia Impact

Allia Impact is a leading social impact organisation dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, startups, and social enterprises that drive innovation and create positive change. Through our award-winning accelerator and venture support programmes, we help founders access the skills, funding, and networks they need to grow and succeed.

Our goal is expand from 3 to 25 UK cities over the next 5 years and to help start around 200 social impact businesses per year in each new location, through a combination of our own programmes, self-paced learning, and university and corporate programmes. Alongside this we need to help accelerate new and existing ventures with the greatest growth potential. This is to create a ‘tipping point’ for social business to become a growing proportion of the UK business population, moving from roughly 9% now to at least 16-20% over the next 5 years.

We are committed to equality and diversity for our ventures, tenants, colleagues, volunteers, trustees and supporters. We value the strength that comes with difference and the positive contribution that diversity brings to the communities in which we serve. We are working to increase diversity and would particularly welcome applications from groups that are currently under-represented, including those from a BAME background.

To apply for this role, please send an up-to-date CV with a supporting covering letter highlighting your skills and experience along with why we should consider you for the role and your salary expectations to recruitment@allia.org.uk. Applications will not be considered without this information.

Early application is encouraged, as we will be interviewing strong candidates as they apply.
