Our client, a well‑established player in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a seasoned General Manager - Engineering to lead engineering and maintenance operations across two strategic manufacturing sites.
Job Description
3. Provide end‑to‑end leadership for engineering, utilities, and plant maintenance across two manufacturing sites
4. Strengthen regulatory preparedness with exposure to USFDA, European, and other global regulatory audits
5. Drive uptime, energy efficiency, and asset‑care programs through robust engineering systems
6. Leverage data and analytics to support technical decisions and enhance operational stability
7. Lead problem‑solving initiatives, root‑cause analysis, and improvement programs
8. Coach and develop engineering teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality performance
9. Support automation, digitalization, and modernization initiatives within engineering
10. Demonstrate composure and decisive leadership during high‑pressure or crisis scenarios
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Professional with:
11. Mandatory experience in sterile/aseptic operations, specifically injectables
12. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management capability
13. Exposure to regulatory audits; USFDA experience preferred
14. Proven execution skills with the ability to drive on‑ground performance
15. Strong analytical orientation with experience working on data‑driven insights
16. Demonstrated leadership in multi‑team or multi‑site environments
17. Exposure to Greenfield/Brownfield project environments (preferred)
18. Experience in Plant Automation within engineering functions (important)
