Inlumi is a global team of 250 specialists in digital transformation for the office of the CFO – advisory, technology implementation and managed operations. We are one of a handful of companies that truly understand technology-enabled change and the impact it can have. With our combined finance, technology and change ability, we help our customers to perform at their best by enabling them to understand their data, deliver it where and when it is needed most, and make decisions.
Your journey starts here
You’ll have impact from day one, most especially if you’re passionate about HR tech and thrive in a fast-paced environment within a friendly, high-performance People team. We’re looking for a great communicator with a growth mindset and solid foundation in the people profession who’s eager to grow their HR Operations or generalist People Advisor career in an innovative global company.
About The Role
We have an opening for a People Operations Advisor to join our global team, initially as a 1-year fixed term remote contract but with potential permanent scope. Based remotely anywhere in Italy and available to support operations across various European geographies, this role is ideal for someone with solid international HR experience or knowledge of a few European markets, who is passionate about delivering a seamless, efficient and impactful employee experience. You’ll likely be a systems thinker with natural curiosity, comfortable with HR tech stacks and keen to deepen knowledge of automation tools to optimise workflows. You’ll thrive in the role if you enjoy owning deeper project-based work globally as well as getting details right locally for each region on operational processes across the employee life cycle.
When embedded as our new People Operations Advisor, you’ll be instrumental in creating the operational side of new workflows, including within talent acquisition and recruitment, progression and performance, employee engagement projects, benefit administration, onboarding and offboarding. There will be opportunities to learn other specialisms within HR and gain significant global exposure across inlumi jurisdictions.
People Operations
* Act as first line response to employee inquiries in Europe and the UK, triage coach and manager requests for advice and elevate as required.
* Optimise internal HR processes globally, including employee engagement initiatives, annual and pulse People surveys, coach and line manager support and advice flows.
* Own People data in our evidence-based HR Ops model: Maintain employee records and performance progression data, spot trends and actionable learns, notify employees on bonus, salary and role changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in employment law and data security.
* Support the self-serve rollout of a global Talent Acquisition system, preboarding HR service and onboarding process, including preparing hire documents, creating internal comms material, conducting candidate screenings, coordinating interviews and sending new hire welcome packs.
* Assist with the operational side of ER, contracts, handbook & policy review and issue employee communications for People initiatives across inlumi internal channels.
* Provide operational support for performance management, employee development cycles, coaching/manager training programs and promotion processes.
* Prepare gross salary and payroll data monthly output for UK and European regions and administer specific local employee benefits. (NB: You will not be responsible for running payroll).
We are excited to meet someone who:
* Has experience working at pace with a People tech stack, ideally but not necessarily ours: ATS (e.g. TeamTailor), performance & employee voice (e.g. CultureAmp), LMS/LXP and HRIS (e.g. BambooHR/Hi-Bob).
* Speaks English fluently with at least one other European language (Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish would be advantageous).
* Demonstrates knowledge of HR payroll outputs and tax regulations relating to employees, preferable in a global company with outsourced payroll.
* Has gained recent full qualifications in Human Resources (HR/HRD) or Organisational Development (OD) equivalent to BA/BSc/CIPD Level 5/SHRM-CP level in your home country.
* Consistently maintains professionalism and strictest confidentiality in all situations.
* Stays curious, proactive, collaborative and productive through change and uncertainty.
* Has experience of achieving concrete deliverables to deadline within a global team.
* Feels they’re a true ambassador of our values: we care, we dare, we grow, we deliver.
