Luggage Point are seeking a customer focussed person for the role of Retail and Service Assistant for their two stores based at Edinburgh Airport and Waverley Market. This is a varied and dynamic role within a well-known and highly respected retailer at the airport location.

What this role is all about?
· Dealing with lost property queries via email, phone calls or face to face
· Retail of travel goods and accessories
· Bag wrapping
· Handling left luggage
· Shipping including providing quotes and parcelling items for courier collection
· Approach customers and provide advice on services offered
· Assist customers with their queries and issues
· Monitor shelves inventory and unload new products when needed
· Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store
Working at the airport?
No day is ever the same in the airport and this role promises a great deal of variety, from delivering high standards of customer service, delivering retail sales to resolving passengers' problems and reuniting them with missing items. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people.
Important
To work within the airport, you must be able to provide a full 5 years' worth of work history as well as complete a Criminal reference check prior to starting work.

* Shifts are generally 9 hours in length (with 2 x 30 minute unpaid breaks) and can start as early as 4am and finish as late as 10pm at Edinburgh Airport and 9am to 8pm at Waverley Market. Candidates will need to ensure that they can get to and from the store at those times by public transport or using their own vehicle. Please note that there is no car parking available at Waverley Market and the use of public transport is recommended. Can you confirm you understand the hours and transport requirements.
