The Scottish Public Pensions Agency is an Agency of the Scottish Government. Our principal role is to administer the pensions for employees in the National Health Service, Teachers’, Police and Fire-fighters’ pension schemes in Scotland. The Agency administers these public service pension schemes on behalf of Scottish Ministers to over 640,000 members with annual payments of over £3.7 billion, together with the related agency administration expenditure of c. £31 million. As a People MI and Analytics Administrator, you'll use your IT skills to create simple digital tools and reports that help colleagues learn and support better decision-making across the organisation. You will help the People Development (PD) team to deliver the workforce plan and contribute to the agency’s wider goals by collaborating with other teams. You will be expected to lead by example in the development of colleague behaviours that result in organisational and culture change whilst acting as a positive role model. Responsibilities Use digital solutions to develop interactive training guides/content on Pathways for our Single Point of Knowledge (SPoK), as a means of supporting self-learning and colleague development. Promote learning activities using different communication mediums such as - Viva Engage, Teams Channels, Sestran Screens, articles etc and deliver overviews as part of our Induction programmes. Produce monthly and ad-hoc reporting packs (dashboards) for our Executive Team and managers to describe PD/HR insights that will help form decision making and support our KPIs. Analyse management information (MI) from evaluation forms, surveys and other data to identify patterns, trends and provide insightful recommendations to PD/HR managers. Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. Support PD team procurement by processing the team’s invoices using the oracle procurement system. Support PD colleagues to deliver against the agency workforce plan by updating the agency organisational chart and working with colleagues in HR to confirm accuracy on monthly basis. Contribute to the wider development of a data-driven culture across the People and Place Department and beyond, engage with stakeholders and work closely with colleagues and managers to understand their data needs and deliver insights that help drive strategy whilst supporting continuous improvement and change.
