Equans is looking for X2 Estates Officer to join our team in Rotherham on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Planning and prioritising work within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation at all times.
* Undertake any training as identified through the performance review process, continually seeking improvement and developing best practice.
* Perform seasonal cyclical works, including fly‑tipping, graffiti removal, grass cutting, hedge cutting, moss clearance, clearing of communal bins, needle removal, and flea eradication.
* Adhere to and apply legislation and Equans procedures as appropriate.
* Understand the aims and objectives of Equans and your service area, together with your role in service delivery.
* Participate in a team‑working approach to the allocation of duties, supporting and working effectively with colleagues to provide good working relationships within the service.
* Ensure the Borough is kept free of litter and is well presented.
* Clean and tidy streets free from debris, well‑kept grassland and ensure graffiti is not visible.

Qualifications
* Experience with graffiti removal
* Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations
* Proficiency with Lantra brush cutter/trimmers
* Proficiency with Lantra L2 chainsaw & cross‑cutting CS30
* Knowledge of Lantra L2 safe use of pesticides & safe application using handheld equipment PA1 & PA6AW
