This 1:1 Behaviour Support Worker role is suited for a candidate who is an exemplary role model, with a calm demeanour, positive mindset, and high aspirations for young people. The candidate should be organized, proactive, adhere to policies, and capable of delivering learning independently to individuals or small groups.

There is potential for this role to become contracted or permanent if successful, with a proven track record. Working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm, with occasional attendance at staff meetings and training.

Working with vulnerable, high-risk young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health or Complex Needs requires experience, patience, resilience, and understanding. The work is challenging but rewarding, offering opportunities to make a measurable impact by removing barriers to education and supporting young people's educational and pastoral development.

Requirements

* Background in Education, Residential Work, Counselling, Psychology, Youth Work, or Care, with strong examples of supporting young or vulnerable people using various strategies.
* Excellent communication skills for liaison with SLT, teachers, parents, carers, schools, and outside agencies.
* A driving licence is advantageous; non-drivers may face limitations in delivering certain aspects of the role.
* Additional extracurricular skills are welcomed.

Salary

£85 to £110 per day, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
