Overview
We are looking to recruit a Fabric Maintenance Engineer with a good knowledge of Facilities Maintenance. The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. They should have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. They must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest FM companies in the UK and Europe, working as a Fabric Maintenance Engineer covering a large static site based in Tilbury, RM18. This is a contract role for one of the largest logistics and media companies in the world. You will join a team of engineers and carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Plumbing
* Basic Electrics
* Basic Carpentry
* Lamp changing
* Take Tap Temperatures
* Flushing
* PPM's
* Reactive maintenance
* Plant Room Checks
* Assist other engineers onsite as required
* Replacement of floor tiles (carpet ceramic)
* Replace suspended ceiling tiles and clean ceiling grilles
* Painting & Decorating
* Tiling
* Client facing role
Qualifications & Desired Traits
* A can do attitude towards any given task
* Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Ideally a trade qualification (Carpentry/Plumbing/Painting & Decorating/Electrical/Mechanical)
