We have a permanent vacancy to join our team of cleaners at Ostlers House Care Home. These posts require working in the laundry within the Care Home along with cleaning duties.
Kirkcaldy:
* Ostlers House Care Home - working 15 hours per week as required on a 5 over 7 day / 3 week rota. Shifts are 7.30am until 2:30pm working 1 weekend in 3. During the 3 week rota you only work 7 shifts. 3 on 7 off 4 on 7 off. Great days off between shifts.
This post requires working in the laundry within the care home along with some cleaning duties.
Enhancements are paid for weekend working.
You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

This work is about ensuring residents and staff can live or work in a clean and safe environment every day.
Laundry duties are washing, drying and ironing care home laundry and residents' personal clothing.
To follow all procedures in collection of soiled laundry from the units and return laundered clothes to the linen cupboards. To follow all health and safety procedures implemented in the laundry.
You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as all training is given, which will include working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
You will be required to attend a full day's Induction Training before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
