The Role These positions are hands-on and client-facing, offering involvement in both reactive support and project delivery.
Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities will include:
Providing 2nd/3rd line technical support across cloud and on-premise environments
Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Supporting and mentoring 1st/2nd line engineers
Leading or assisting with client onboarding and infrastructure migrations
Conducting on-site audits and producing technical documentation
Managing and maintaining Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Assisting with cybersecurity implementations and best practice improvements
Coordinating connectivity and VoIP solutions with third-party providers
Contributing to internal process improvements and service standards
3rd Line Engineers will take greater ownership of project delivery, infrastructure design, and advanced escalations, working closely with senior leadership.
About You We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
Proven experience within an MSP environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows Server, networking, and Microsoft 365
Experience with Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and security tools
Knowledge of IT security best practice and GDPR awareness
Excellent communication and documentation skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
A full UK driving licence and willingness to attend client sites when required
Desirable (Not Essential) Microsoft, CompTIA, or ITIL certifications
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Familiarity with RMM/PSA systems and CRM platforms
Knowledge of VoIP systems (e.g., 3CX)
Exposure to managed print environments
