Overview
On behalf of our client, we’re looking for a dedicated and professional Finance Manager to be responsible for all day-to-day financial activities. Working in a small business with a team of 15, this standalone role reports directly to the Managing Director who will offer mentoring and guidance to support your development.
This role is full time, office based in Bradford and offers a salary of up to £40,000 per annum dependent on experience plus lots of amazing benefits. Qualifications are not a necessity, with experience being key. This is a great opportunity for someone to streamline and improve processes and really make the role their own.
Responsibilities
* Support in the creation of monthly management accounts.
* Maintain and process the purchase ledger: match, batch, and code invoices.
* Produce and send client invoices and maintain the sales ledger.
* Monitor aged debtors and chase outstanding payments.
* Assist in preparing and processing payroll information.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Process employee expenses and petty cash claims.
* Support the production of monthly financial reports and journals.
* Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding financial queries.
* Support in the streamlining of financial processes to improve functionality.

* Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise across every level of an organisation, including senior business leaders and decision makers.
* Organised nature, able to multi-task efficiently under time pressures.
* Excellent attention to detail, getting things right first time, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and rectify errors.
* Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build proactive rapport, offering a customer centric approach.
* Conflict management skills that are evident at all levels of an organisation, comfortable with giving and receiving feedback as well as mediating difficult situations and handling complaints.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause quickly and mitigate reoccurrence.
* Commercially aware with the ability to support all areas of the business in accurate financial processes.
