The Pastry Chef assists in the preparation and production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency. This role supports the Head Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff in daily operations, from ingredient preparation to the final presentation of dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
* Culinary or Pastry certifications.
* 2+ years’ experience working as a Pastry Chef or Baker, preferably in a 5-star hotel or restaurant.
* Experience working as a Private Chef for VVIP clients is highly regarded.

* Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain a clean, organized work area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with cleaning tools, equipment, and workspaces.
* Stock Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels, report shortages, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
* Learning & Development: Continuously learn new pastry techniques, recipes, and skills from senior chefs and participate in training programs.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other pastry chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely production.
* Customer Orders: Assist in fulfilling customer orders for special occasions, ensuring they meet specific requirements.
* A genuine passion for pastry arts and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
