Chroma Recruitment are supporting a technology‑driven organisation undertaking a major uplift of its internal web‑based systems and client portal. We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET contractor with strong ASP.NET / WebForms experience to join a small, delivery‑focused team and ship improvements at pace.
What you’ll do
* Maintain, enhance and refactor an existing ASP.NET WebForms application.
* Develop and extend RESTful APIs used across internal systems.
* Diagnose SQL issues (queries/stored procedures) and improve performance.
* Tackle defects, legacy issues and UI inconsistencies.
* Prepare older components for phased migration to a more modern .NET environment.
* Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving setup.
What you’ll bring
* Confidence working across front‑and back‑end components.
* Ability to navigate large, older codebases quickly and deliver at pace.
* Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* (Nice to have:) Exposure to .NET Core/modernisation and common API integration patterns.
* (Bonus:) Authentication work is in scope-can be taught if needed.
Logistics
* Hybrid Warrington: 2 days on-site (Thu/Fri).
* Outside IR35. Umbrella (Chroma PSL) or own Ltd (Qdos assessment c. ÂŁ89+VAT).
