We are recruiting for an Visitor Experience & Operations Manager for Belvoir Castle, home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland and one of the UKs historic gems. The public have access to the Castle and the grounds offer a range of activities including a Retail Village, various childrens play areas, a farm shop (selling many products from the Grounds, farm and orchard), a forest play area, magnificent grounds and gardens, a petting farm and extraordinary events spaces. Used on many film locations including The Crown and Da Vinci Code, its sits on the border of 4 counties. In the grounds they also have rental accommodation from apartments to houses (plus staff have the opportunity to live on site). Visitor Experience & Operations Manager - this is a varied and busy role and will oversee the activities including : Visitor Centre The Castle Events Team Rooms The Retail Village Play areas and car parks Liaison with travel trade and handling bookings & enquiries Overseeing the marketing team As Visitor Experience & Operations Manager you must have a driving licence and a car as you will drive around the grounds to the different areas. We are seeking a Visitor Experience & Operation Manager candidates with at least 10 years experience working within the Attraction or hospitality industry. Around 10 months of the year you will need to be on site around one weekend a month to support your Operations team.
