Bank Community Staff Nurse

We are looking to recruit staff for the nursing bank temporary staffing team for nurses with a particular interest in adult community nursing. This is an opportunity to provide nursing care to housebound patients so they can remain at home receiving the care they need. The role includes working with patients, families, carers, and other health and care partners collaboratively to provide personalised care.
Responsibilities
* Practice within a multidisciplinary team and provide care to patients within their own homes and community settings.
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care needs under the supervision of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Practitioners and District Nurses.
* Deliver a high standard of holistic nursing care whilst promoting and maintaining health education and independence.
* Take responsibility for own actions when delivering clinical care and maintain competency and skill in line with role requirements.
Previous experience working in an inner‑city borough visiting people in their own homes would be desirable but is not essential and will be based on transferable skills.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered General Nurse, NMC Registered.
* Ability to effectively function as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Demonstrates an understanding of Trust Values.
* Community experience working (including student placement in the community).
