We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bromley, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support pupils in Key Stage 1, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally. As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons for pupils in Years 1 and 2. You will create an engaging learning environment, promote positive behaviour, and support pupils’ personal development. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN Promote positive behaviour, independence, and resilience Support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and leadership Contribute to school events, trips, and extra-curricular activities Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, resources, and assessment Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils Be passionate, creative, and committed to high-quality teaching Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be able to differentiate learning for pupils of varying abilities Have strong communication and teamwork skills Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing The school is located in Bromley, with excellent transport links and a supportive, diverse community.
