A London market insurance business is recruiting for a German speaking qualified accountant.
Reporting to the International Finance Director you will be responsible for all accounting related matters for the German branch operation. This will include (but not limited to) reporting under German GAAP, managing outsourced service providers based in Germany, cashflow and P&L reporting, working with Auditors at quarter end / year end, process documentation and improvement work, and helping to interpret German related accounting standards and requirements.
Candidates don’t need to have previous insurance accounting experience as full training will be given on the insurance technicalities, but candidates must be fully qualified accountants and speak German fluently.
This is a London City based role with three days a week required in the office and with some travel to Germany.
