Transport Manager – Hybrid | £40,000–£45,000 + Benefits
Location: Oxford - Hybrid (UK-wide travel required – up to 50%)

About the Company
Our client is a leading supplier of innovative ground access solutions across the rail, construction, and utility sectors. They provide year-round, all-weather site access with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. They are currently seeking a Transport & Plant Manager to join their dynamic operations team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the UK fleet of commercial vehicles, plant, and drivers.
* Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance (Operator’s Licence, DVSA, tacho systems, etc.).
* Oversee procurement, maintenance, and disposal of vehicles and equipment.
* Monitor cost effectiveness, safety, and performance (including telematics, utilization, energy consumption).
* Support Health & Safety initiatives and help standardize operations across the group.
Requirements
* 4+ years’ experience as a Transport Manager (construction industry preferred).
* CPC qualification (essential).
* Full UK Drivers license.
* Strong IT skills – MS Excel, Word, routing & tacho systems.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
* Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
