Our client, an Underground Utility Surveyor is looking for a Surveyor's Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Full-time - Permanent Position - Monday to Friday £26,500pa This organisation specialises in the location of Sewers, Water and Gas pipes, Electricity cables, Telecommunication cables and other locatable buried services. A typical day will mean early starts to travel to sites. There will be a regular need to stay away overnight on larger jobs. (A private room/ accommodation is fully paid for along with dinner/drinks). There will be post-site work based at the office. You will be assisting the Surveyor's with their day-to-day activities in all weathers. Full training will be given in all aspects of Health and Safety including manual handling and working in confined spaces You will need to pass a DBS check and obtain a CSCS (construction) certificate. You must have a full UK driving license, good communication skills (you will be talking to customers) and be physically fit as this role involves listing.
