Page Personnel are currently working with a reputable business based in Huddersfield who are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This client is a bureau practice so you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll for hundreds of clients. It is essential that you have experience working within a payroll position in a practice previously.
Job Description
As a Payroll Manager, your main duties and responsibilities are below:
* Engage end-to-end payroll processing for clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
* Supervise a team of payroll administrators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Collaborate with clients to gather payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and address inquiries.
* Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all payroll processes.
* Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors, such as tax authorities.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
* Experience managing a team of staff previously
* Experience working within a bureau practice previously
* A very high attention to detail
