Experienced Cancer Nurse – Lung Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (Short-Term)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical advice and emotional support to lung cancer patients.
* Co‑ordinate high‑quality care as a core member of the multidisciplinary team.
* Manage individual clinical caseloads, ensuring continuity of care across diagnosis, treatment, surveillance and long‑term follow‑up.
* Assess symptoms and side effects, and communicate complex information to patients, relatives and carers.
* Identify and address the physical and psychological challenges faced by patients.
Qualifications & Experience
* Clinical experience as a cancer nurse with proven knowledge of oncology practice.
* Strong communication, clinical assessment and patient education skills.
* Ability to impart complex information to patients and carers.
* Understanding of the challenges faced by cancer patients.
