Job Description: As a Front End Developer, you will: Work as part of a team responsible for designing and building user-centred services. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate into the back end of the service to ensure that they are built and tested to a high standard. Turn agreed designs into robust and accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Build accessible services which work effectively across multiple devices and browsers. Use modern tooling and development techniques to write test-driven code. Ensure that the design and implementation of services is consistent with standards and our design system. Engage with and contribute to the engineering and user-centred design communities. Engage with teams across different levels and capabilities. Salary Information Pay for this role is from £42,614 to £45,081. The maximum salary for the grade is £45,081, however a Digital Allowance of up to £5,215 per annum is available for exceptional candidates. Digital Allowance is non-salary, and non-pensionable, and is classed as a temporary allowance. It is reviewed annually where it could be retained, amended, or removed. A thorough understanding of service design principles, with the ability to ensure consistency with established design and implementation standards. The ability to promote standards as well as create a coaching and mentoring culture. 4. Technical statement (up to 250 words). The following statement is aligned to the required technical skill of Systems Integration. Demonstrable expertise in Front-end development of large scale systems dealing with high numbers of users, transactions and business processes. The sift panel will use the information in your employment history, personal statement, and technical statement to assess your experience, skills and knowledge. An initial sift will be conducted using the technical statement. Candidates who pass the initial sift will be progressed to a full sift.
