The role: We are looking for a Sales Account Executive to join the retail team and support the management of key accounts, working with major customers including the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Aldi and Lidl. Reporting to and deputising for the Head of Retail Sales, you will play a key role in day‑to‑day account activity including preparing quotations, maintaining client records, supporting project delivery and building relationships with existing and prospective customers. This position offers significant long‑term career progression within both this business and the wider group, making it an excellent opportunity for someone ambitious and eager to grow.
Responsibilities
* Support the retail sales team with day‑to‑day account management
* Prepare quotations and technical information under guidance
* Maintain accurate customer records and support reporting
* Assist in identifying new business opportunities within the retail sector
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions
* Attend trade shows and client meetings as required
The person
* Some experience in sales, account management or customer support, ideally in technical or engineering sectors
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Commercial awareness and a customer‑focused mindset
* Confident, proactive and keen to learn in a fast‑paced environment
