-We are looking for an experienced Facilities Co-ordinator to work with and support the Facilities Manager in delivering the day-to-day operation for a busy client property in Nottingham City Centre on the E.ON account.

This role is a fixed 12-month contract to cover Maternity Leave.

The role is 35 hours per week and will be office-based in Nottingham City Centre, Monday to Friday, with hours to be agreed and flexible to suit the needs of the business.

The account is responsible for total FM delivery for the client on site, including cleaning, catering, security, post room, landscaping, and maintenance.

You will support the wider team in all service delivery, health & safety requirements, including updating risk assessments, employee training, and embedding the LiveSafe culture.

You should have experience in facilities management service delivery, team management, problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and proficient IT skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of CAFM tools.

You must possess excellent analytical skills, high resilience, and a strong desire to succeed.


Main Duties

1. Support and work alongside the Facilities Manager on site, liaising with the wider team to meet client and business needs.
2. Create a work environment that reflects Mitie/E.ON values, supporting employee safety, development, and engagement.
3. Assist with recruitment, training, and development of team members, including setting roles, policies, and resolving performance issues.
4. Ensure all employees are trained and competent for their roles.
5. Conduct monthly cleaning and catering audits, reporting findings centrally.
6. Manage annual leave to maintain adequate staffing levels.
7. Ensure adherence to time and attendance procedures.
8. Participate in training and development programs for personal and business growth.
9. Implement and monitor Service Delivery policies, procedures, and KPIs.
10. Lead by example, demonstrating company standards, values, and behaviors.
11. Maintain current risk assessments and method statements, reviewing annually.
12. Schedule and deliver toolbox talks to staff, ensuring engagement.
13. Engage positively on health and safety matters, acting on staff concerns.
14. Participate in site forums, resolving issues for client and contract improvement.
15. Maintain strong relationships with the mitie team, client, and site stakeholders.
16. Report hazards promptly.
17. Handle customer queries and complaints effectively, keeping the client informed.
18. Assist in managing budgets, staffing, and shift patterns, including maintenance of Workplace Plus.


What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, analytical abilities, high resilience, and ambition to succeed in a busy environment. Additionally:

* Experience in a similar role.
* IOSH certification (NEBOSH desirable).
* At least 2 years of managing service delivery in challenging environments.
* Knowledge of FM service delivery highly desirable.
* Experience working with SLAs, performance metrics, and targets.
* Proficiency in MS Office and service desk systems.
* FM industry experience.
