Ensure area / production line is ready by checking appropriate machines and areas are set to correct performance, food safety and hygiene standards. Ensuring all customer and legal requirements are met and product conforms to specification. Checking incoming raw materials and ingredients ensuring they meet our internal specification. Ensuring that weight and temperature measuring equipment is properly calibrated and issues reporting to Technical FLM without unreasonable delays. Checking product labels conform to requirements. Performing regular routine audits on site in line with procedures. Reporting any non-conformance issues to Line Manager. Collecting samples for laboratory testing. Supporting the production team to get things done and recorded correctly, and making sure that everyone complies with company food safety procedures. Ensure internal Non-conformances are investigated thoroughly and efficiently. Drive right first time attitude amongst fellow work colleagues, including production. Advise Line Manager of any issues preventing the production plan being achieved. Carry out process control checks at set intervals ensuring adherence to specification. Reporting to the Technical Shift Leader, the Technical Advanced Operator is a highly motivated pro-active skilled individual with food safety & Quality at the heart of everything they do. They are able to optimise their daily routine of checking and assuring quality and safety standards across the site to ensure the product in deliver on time in full, with a ‘right first time’ mentality.
