Overview
We are looking to recruit 1 CATEC Support Officer, office based at MEAP Offices Phillips Park Road, Beswick, Manchester M11 3FU. CATEC is a busy, fast paced team delivering and monitoring Technology Enabled Care devices in citizens' homes across the city 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Main Duties Of The Support Officer Role
* Learn all aspects of Technology Enabled Care including the delivery model and the devices included in Manchester's offer. Undertake the monitoring of devices such as GPS trackers following procedures.
* Use initiative and established procedures to resolve incoming queries as the first point of contact within agreed timescales.
* Be involved in projects and collaborative working with stakeholders, colleagues and relevant parties testing new technology.
* Work on multiple systems, platforms and portals including Evo, our Digital Call Monitoring Platform.
* Liaise with professionals and families to arrange the installation of Technology Enabled Care including social workers, other professionals and hospital discharge teams.
The Candidate We Are Looking For Will Be
* Enthusiastic and keen to learn.
* Be a team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Attention to detail, able to prioritise work, manage time and follow procedures with strict deadlines.
* Accurate record keeping is essential.
* Have experience of working with Microsoft packages, in particular Excel.
