Overview
On behalf of our client, NRL are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator for work in the Stoke area.
Location: Stoke ST1
Duration: Start asap (6 months contract). Hours: Mon-Fri 39 hours per week.
The Role
An opportunity exists at our client's Stoke Cylinder Re-Test Facility working in the cylinder refurbishment area. Work will involve inspection and re-validation of industrial gas cylinders. Flexibility is a key requirement as you will be required to work in other areas as business demands. “Safety” and “Customer Service” are key watch words in our organisation and all our team are encouraged to help us “Deliver The Difference”.

Responsibilities
* Cylinder, valve and pack inspection
* Refurbishment and re-validation of both industrial and integrated products
* Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety requirements
* Fault inspections and escalations
* Willingness and flexibility to take on other duties as required
Qualifications
* A minimum of City and Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent
* A can-do attitude and the desire to work on your own initiative
* A positive and energetic attitude towards work
* A forklift truck licence would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
