We are working with a forward-thinking local authority to appoint an experienced Rents Officer on an initial 3-month contract. This is an important role within a busy housing team, focused on maximising rental income, supporting tenancy sustainment, and managing rent arrears in line with policy. This role would suit a housing professional with recent experience in rent collection, arrears recovery, and tenancy support within a local authority or housing association. You will need a good understanding of housing finance and income recovery processes, combined with excellent customer service skills. The position is hybrid, with a requirement to attend the office at least two days per week.
