Tutors Required (EOTAS - Wokingham, Berkshire)
Quantum Scholars are working with local authorities and alternative provision settings to recruit experienced tutors to support pupils across Wokingham and the surrounding Berkshire area.
This role involves delivering 1:1 tuition or small group sessions to students who are currently out of mainstream education, often through EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) provision.
About the Role
* Delivering tailored tuition sessions in core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science)
* Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
* Working either in the home, community settings, or alternative provision centres
* Building strong, supportive relationships to re-engage students with learning
Requirements
* QTS is preferred, but experienced tutors without QTS will be considered
* Experience working with vulnerable learners or those outside mainstream education
* Strong behaviour management and adaptability
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Must have the right to work in the UK
