Job Summary
The ramp technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicle ramps fitted on all buses in the Metroline Travel and Metroline West fleets.
Main responsibilities
1. Ramp inspections;
2. Ramp strip down and repair;
3. Collating and planning work;
4. Liaising with garage engineers;
5. Updating ramp database.
Essential criteria
6. Technically adept;
7. Demonstrable experience in an engineering background;
8. Computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook;
9. Sound mechanical knowledge of PCV requirements.

11. Flexibility to change priorities and resources quickly to meet the needs of the garage;

Hours of work
38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
