An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to be a Delivery Driver at a localised delivery service for national carriers and blue-chip companies in Basildon.
About the role
As a Delivery Driver, you will:
* Log into the smartphone app, load your van and start your sequenced & pre-mapped route delivering parcels and boxes to homes and businesses.
* Be supported by our dedicated team, who will assist with queries that might arise.
About the hours & rewards
I n the role of Delivery Driver, you will work in 7-day payment terms, and there is a day rate on offer of £170.00 (not inclusive of incentives) plus:
* Training can be provided (if you don’t have any relevant experience yet)
* Fuel contributions
* Seasonal Incentives
* Performance Incentives
* Refer a friend Incentive
* Low rates on van rental (£160.00 per week, not inclusive of VAT) if you don’t have your van
* The flexibility of a Self-Employed Contract
About you
To be successful in the role of Delivery Driver, you will need a valid UK/EU driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years and with less than 6 points, and you must be/have:
* Access to or be prepared to rent a van (Standard Size Panel Van) with the correct insurances (Vehicle Insurance, Goods in Transit & Public Liability)
* Happy for a Criminal Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test to be undertaken
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
* Own an Android phone to access the workload mobile application
* Be reliable and customer-focused
