St Nicholas C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and
committed Teaching Assistant Level 2 as part of its enthusiastic and dedicated team. The
role involves providing support and working one to one with a child with specific needs. The
individual taking on this role will need to be highly motivated, calm, patient and able to adapt
quickly to different situations.

ROLE
You will be responsible for:
Supporting one to one in activities that have been planned for by the class teacher
Contributing to the school's statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of
children
Your qualities will include
Highly motivated
Calm
Patient
Able to adapt quickly to different situations
Relevant experience and appropriate qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 are
desirable.
Previous experience of supporting children with SEND would be an advantage
Displaying commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young
people.

candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check with a Barred List check. Our preemployment process will also include Teacher Prohibition List checks, overseas checks
