First opening over a hundred years ago, our team at Whipps Cross have one of the busiest A&E departments in the country with more than 152,000 patients attending each year. Other departments are just as busy with over 77,000 inpatient stays and 381,000 outpatient appointments.
Works across acute Trust/CCG settings, as an expert in clinical field to deliver specialist clinical services to defined patient/ client group.
Provides specialist, interdisciplinary education and training to other staff and students.
Works strategically to influence the development of the service both locally and nationally.
* Leads clinical audits in own area.
* Participates in /facilitates/ undertakes research in specialist field.
