Workshop Team Leader - Fabrication & Machining
Location: Telford
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (39 hours/week)
Pay: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (DOE)
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage daily operations within the workshop.
* Supervise and support a team of welders, fabricators, and machinists.
* Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
* Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
* Coordinate workflow and allocate tasks effectively.
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a workshop leadership role.
* Strong background in sheet metal fabrication, particularly with mild and stainless steel.
* Hands-on knowledge of welding, fabrication, and machining processes.
* Excellent communication and team management skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
