Location: Coatbridge
We’re looking for a skilled Coded Welder to join our growing Off-Site Manufacturing team at Emtec Building Services based at our Off site manufacturing facility in Coatbridge. This is a hands-on role where precision, teamwork, and quality matter — you'll play a key part in delivering high-spec modular builds for a wide range of projects across the UK.
4 day Working week Monday to Thursday 7am – 5pm!
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out high-quality TIG, MIG and Electrode welding to NDT-tested standards
* Interpreting detailed fabrication drawings and following correct procedures
* Supporting the workshop team with installs (e.g. pumps, heating accessories)
* Communicating progress and quality checks to the Workshop Supervisor
* Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment
* Completing QA documentation for all tasks undertaken
What we're looking for:
* A qualified welder with experience under BS ISO15614-2, BS EN287 or similar
* Strong understanding of plantroom pipework and HVAC systems
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel if required for occasional site-based work
* ECS/CSCS card
It would be great if you also have:
* A valid UK driving licence
