This is also a unique opportunity to work in some of East Riding's most iconic venues. We have more than 45 licensed venues ranging from hotels, stately homes and award winning barns to vineyards and country houses. Better yet, your natural 'home' could be the beautiful Old Library in Beverley, newly refurbished and part of the ChampneyTreasure House complex.
In this role, you will need to think on your feet, be patient, and have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for the legality of the ceremony, bringing an empathetic, caring, and flexible attitude to your work. This will mean you are happy to talk to couples outside of standard working hours. From a practical point of view, you will also have good IT skills with the capacity to accurately and clearly enter information into legal documents. You will also need to remain alert and raise concerns on forced, predatory and sham marriages and Civil Partnerships- working with your colleagues, to protect the people involved.
