The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with students with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support within the classroom and during targeted interventions
Help pupils stay engaged, confident, and supported in their learning
Work collaboratively with the SENCo, teaching staff, and pastoral teams
Contribute to a safe, caring, and structured learning environment where every student feels understood and valued
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you are:
Experienced working with children or young people with SEND (school, youth work, care, mentoring or similar)
OR an existing Teaching Assistant looking to specialise further in SEN
Warm, patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships
Reliable, committed, and passionate about supporting students who need that extra encouragement
Calm under pressure and able to adapt to individual student needs
