We’re seeking passionate, proactive and engaging male Teaching Assistants with experience in special education to join a warm, creative and highly supportive primary special school for pupils aged 2-11.
What you’ll be working with:
Pupils who have severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound & multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex medical needs, and many with autism spectrum disorder.
A creative and practical curriculum that focuses on building independence, communication, life skills and confidence.
Specialist support and collaborative working: you’ll work alongside speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, sensory support services, and other visiting professionals.
What we’re looking for:
Male candidates with experience working in special educational needs contexts (SLD, ASD, PMLD or similar)
Someone who is proactive, compassionate, resilient, and engaging
Full-time availability, Monday-Friday, 8:30-16:00
A team-player with excellent communication skills, who cares deeply about children’s welfare and can help support both their learning and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
