Overview
Abacus Valuers is seeking part-time Retail Stocktakers. Since 1988 we have been a leading provider of quality stocktaking services throughout the UK, and we work with a wide range of well-known high street retailers. We are expanding and looking for people to join us asap to work on average 3 days a week. Work can fluctuate and often more work is available.
Responsibilities
* Carry out stocktakes (typically Monday to Friday, starting very early mornings, around 5am).
* Report your availability to the Regional Manager and have your weekly schedule planned accordingly.
* Be flexible with hours; the length of the working day varies by client site, but you are guaranteed a minimum of 5 hours pay whenever you work.
* Travel is paid (excluding the first hour to and from work); you may be asked to travel between locations or meet points as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Driving license and vehicle are required to reach local meet points for car sharing to jobs.
* Experience is not essential; full training will be provided.
* Reliable, conscientious, and able to work well as part of a team.
Career Opportunities
There are good prospects for progression to Stocktake Team Leader positions within this region for the right candidate; the majority of our management team started as Stocktakers.
