We are looking A Team Leader to join us on a full-time basis in our Omagh Court. Am I suited to being a Court Team Leader ? Previous experience in security is not a must, but if you're already working in the industry, or have before, we welcome you to join our team. We know you'll get off to a flying start! Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is desirable, however we welcome internal candidates who are committed to company values and want to progress in their career All candidates will be required to complete a counter Terrorism check and we will sponsor our Successful candidate in application A typical week will involve leading a team of court Security officers within your area; ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other Elements Of The Role Will Include Interacting with some of the most senior and influential stakeholders in the country such as Chief Justice, Judges, PSNI, NSPCC & Legal Professionals and building good working relationships Court Security Officers and Team Leaders are under the Enabling Legislation under Justice Act, so are able to stop, search and restrain anyone within the Courts if deemed necessary. Promoting learning and development within your team to ensure all security knowledge and protocols are up to date and adhered to Leading your team of court Security officers, competing rotas, ensuring necessary security is provided to ensure smooth running of courts Assisting and ensuring all KPIs are met and in line with company guideline Liaise with Senior management team, to ensure excellent standards of security our provided using effective communication to support the team within your area Being a point of contact for any escalations, cultivating a great team environment Join G4S and you can enjoy real career progression with a large international company - as the world’s leading provider of security solutions, we offer loads of training and support. The Ideal Candidate If you are aged 18 or over and are a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service all times, then this could be the career for you! A good understanding of IT is required and as mentioned before, whilst it would be a benefit to have some previous security experience together with your SIA licence, it’s not essential. We provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training to help you on your way to a career in security. Our contractual requirements mean that you will generally work a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working 8 hour day shifts. However, we do ask for some flexibility dependent on business needs.
