Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant joining a fast-growing and forward-thinking business based in Thornaby-on-Tees. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supporting both procurement and supply chain operations. You'll help manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, and inventory levels, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from order through to delivery. Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities: Managing purchase orders, supplier communication, and product availability. Monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock. Assisting with logistics coordination, including delivery schedules and inbound shipments. Analysing purchasing and supply data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements. Maintaining accurate records of suppliers, orders, and pricing. Working closely with warehouse, sales, and finance teams to align purchasing and stock management with business needs.
