We’re now looking for a driven and confident individual to join our team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. You’ll work closely with our Director, who brings over a decade of industry experience — giving you hands-on mentorship and the chance to build a successful recruitment career from the ground up.

Develop high-impact sales and business development skills.

What You’ll Be Doing
Conduct outbound sales (including cold calling) and identify new business opportunities.
Proactively engage with potential clients and candidates through multiple platforms.
Build and nurture strong relationships, becoming the go-to recruiter in your market.
Manage the full recruitment process — from initial contact to job offer and placement.
Prepare costings, proposals, and quotations for clients.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records.
Meet and exceed weekly/monthly activity and revenue goals.
Stay up-to-date on sector trends, industry insights, and recruitment legislation.
Attend networking events and build your personal brand via social media.
What We’re Looking For
Confident, self-starting, and proactive attitude.
A genuine interest in recruitment and/or the engineering/manufacturing sectors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn — full training will be provided.
Highly organised with attention to detail.
Comfortable using IT systems and open to new technology.
Ambition to grow and take on more responsibility as we scale.

Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 depending on experience (after probation).

Working hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am–2:00pm (early finish!)
