We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Executive to support the growth and day-to-day management of our digital sales channels. This role combines product data management, marketplace execution, online trading support and wider e-commerce operations.
The successful candidate will help ensure products are accurately represented across websites and marketplaces, support online sales performance, assist with order administration, and contribute to wider marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
Product Data & Master Product Database Management
* Manage and maintain product information within the Master Product Database (MPD), ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
* Create, upload and update product listings, including descriptions, imagery, specifications, attributes and digital assets across company websites and marketplace channels.
* Support the launch of new products by coordinating product data readiness across channels.
* Assist the sales team and retail partners by supplying accurate product data, content and supporting materials.
* Monitor and improve product content quality, ensuring listings are optimised for customer experience and conversion.
Marketplace & Website Management
Maintain product listings across key marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
* Ensure all content complies with marketplace requirements, standards and policies.
* Monitor listing health, resolve content issues and support product visibility across channels.
* Open and manage support cases with marketplace partners to resolve listing, compliance or order-related issues.
* Support online trading activity through marketplace and website content management.
* E-commerce Administration
* Assist with order administration, checking order flow and supporting timely fulfilment.
* Update tracking details and help monitor customer delivery performance.
* Support troubleshooting of order or system issues across online channels.
* Help maintain smooth day-to-day e-commerce operations.
* Support retailer onboarding and ongoing product data requirements.
* Work with sales teams and marketplace partners to ensure accurate and timely product content delivery.
* Help maintain strong operational relationships with online partners.
General Marketing Support
* Support wider marketing initiatives and campaigns as required.
* Assist with promotional launches, website updates and digital content tasks.
* Undertake any other marketing duties appropriate to the role.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an e-commerce, marketplace or digital trading role.
* Level 3 Marketing qualification (A-Level standard) or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Data or Digital.
* Strong Excel capability, including data handling, reporting and product file management.
* Experience working with product data feeds, listing updates and channel content management.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience managing and optimising online product listings across websites and marketplaces.
* Working knowledge of key marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, B&Q, Tesco or similar channels.
* Understanding of marketplace compliance and online trading processes.
* Experience with product databases/PIM or ERP-integrated product management systems.
* Experience using WooCommerce or similar CMS platforms.
* Experience using marketplace integrators including Linnworks and Mirakl.
* Experience supporting retailer onboarding and digital product content requirements.
* Exposure to marketplace performance monitoring and trading support.
